What is it?
Laser therapy is used primarily for wound healing, pain relief and soft tissue repair.
It is a drug-free, non-invasive treatment used in podiatry.
Who is it for?
Low-level laser therapy can help with many conditions such as chronic and acute problems, pain, wounds, nerve damage, musculoskeletal conditions, neurological pain, skin conditions and diseases.
The Active Life Podiatry team use low-intensity laser therapy (LILT) which results in faster healing of tissue damage and increases the strength of the repaired tissue. It can reduce scarring by rebalancing the production of collagen and stimulating the immune system.
This can be a one-off treatment, or a course. We offer discounts on treatments courses, ask your podiatrist for more information.

#TakeSteps to look after your feet
Walking the dog, taking the kids to school, running a marathon, or even running for a bus, we take thousands of steps in a day. In fact, we walk nearly 75,000 miles in a lifetime. Our feet bear the weight of our steps and keep us moving every day.
